Got my first dog in 1988, that was a Bichon Frisé. The same year I got to know Marte and her mother Ingun Hinna and Thor-Egil Haga, the owners of Kennel McKenzie. They had some lovely Irish Wolfhounds and Giant Schnauzers. I became very good friends with Marte and we had so much fun together. We often stayed at her home looking after the dogs while Ingun and Thor-Egil went to shows. I also got to travel with them on some of these trips and the highlight of the year was the IW Specialty.

I soon wanted to get my own Irish wolfhound, but my dream was not fulfilled until 1995 when I bought "Theo" (N S UCh Malleus Maleficarum O'Marksbay) from Knut Olav Wille, the O'Markbay kennel. Since then it has only been Irish wolfhounds for me, and many of them.

In 1997 I meat my mentor, Mr. Anthony Killykeen-Doyle who owns the famous Killykeen kennel. We became friends immediately. He has opened his home for me and I have been able to go and visit him many times. He is a living encyclopedia when it comes to hounds, and I have learned so much about the Irish wolfhound from this master! 

I work part time as a veterinary nurse at PetVett Bergen AS, and love it! I also sell pet insurance for dogs and cat
